WHITECAPS SIGN SOCCER BALL FOR NIKO

Niko van Vloten poses with the signed Whitecaps Ball he received from the PMSC following a serious ATV accident in Northern BC last fall. Niko was airlifted to Childrens hospital in critical condition but thanks to Childrens Hospital staff pulled through and is already back on the pitch. Glad to have you back Niko!

TEAMS COLLECT FOR THE FOOD BANK

In total the U11 Jr. Caps Boys team and U11 Pride Girls team collected 1979 items of food and $139 in cash that was delivered to the Friends-in-Need Food Bank. The teams spent 2 hours going door-to-door throughout Pitt Meadows last week and were pitted against each other in a team competition.
Results were: Boys raised 1016 items of food and $39. Girls raised 963 items and $100!
This was enough food to stock their shelves for almost 4 months and in dollars that actually equates to $417 with their buying power!!!
Special thanks should also go out to the parents as I believe every child had at least 1 parent present to help with walking/driving.
